Psychotherapy

Individual & Couples Therapy

Every person at some point experiences a range of challenges throughout their life and people respond differently to these challenges. When you notice your life isn’t where you want it to be therapy can be a huge benefit because it pulls back layers that give you to deepest access to understanding who you are and tools to managing your emotional health. Taking action to invest in yourself is an incredible step to long-lasting positive benefits.

Therapy is a personal journey and therefore your experience is designed for you. I infuse my clinical training, along with life experiences and cultural awareness in my approach. I use a variety of proven therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. In couples therapy my therapeutic orientation includes Emotionally Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy using an assessment as a baseline to identify core breakdowns in your relationship. I also incorporate other forms of therapy responsive to your needs.

Therapy has the best benefits when sessions are consistent. In the beginning, your session frequency should be no more than 1-2 weeks apart. As symptoms improve, sessions may go into maintenance with less frequency at 3-4 weeks apart. Once your treatment goals are achieved, we may decide to end treatment. At that point we will have our final session to review your progress, identify techniques most helpful to you, and warning signs that indicate if future treatment may be needed.

It’s time to put yourself first.
